Account and Data Deletion Request

At NextTeam, you have full control over your personal data. This page outlines how to delete your account and all associated personal information, whether from inside the Android application or directly via this website.

Option 1: Delete your account within the app

If you have the NextTeam app installed on your device:

1. Open the NextTeam app and log in.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the navigation bar.
3. Select Settings & Account.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm your request when prompted.

Once confirmed, your session will end immediately and your account deletion process will be initiated.

Option 2: Request deletion via Web / Email (without the app)

If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your mobile device, you can submit a deletion request directly to our support team:

1. Send an email to support@nextteam.app.
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
3. Important: You must send the request from the email address registered with your NextTeam account (or specify your account email in the body).

Our team will verify ownership and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

What data is deleted?

When your account is deleted:

• Account credentials: Your authentication records, email address, display name, and user ID are permanently purged.
• Device identifiers: All push notification tokens (FCM) associated with your devices are removed.
• Team memberships: Your profile is unlinked and removed from all teams and guardian rosters.
• Diagnostic data: Identifiable diagnostic or Crashlytics records associated with your user ID are purged.

What data may be retained?

Aggregate, anonymized match statistics (e.g. historical game scores and timestamps) may be retained for historical team record integrity, but will be stripped of any link to your personal identity.
